In high school my friend had a Ranchero which I did a little airbrushing on. We cruised that thing for the summer, road in the back, and made plans for it’s future. He eventually painted it Midnight Blue and did some minor motor work, but I moved away before I got to help him. This is how I would have done it, or maybe if the price is right when I stumble across one…

I was inspired by Deep Purple’s Highway Star. I could imagine this thing barreling down the highway, windows too dark to see who or what’s inside, and a loud big block Ford screaming away! (Digital painting)

I want to start doing all my personal work in markers and airbrush again so I started with this ‘57 Ford Fairlane 500. Enjoy. (Marker)
